Applicants who seek admission to the 7th of April university to study specialized license or (Bachelor) in the basic science, technical, medical, engineering and, humanitarian, social, economic and legal study must have the following :
1. to obtain a high school or secondary specialized certificate , and may accept students who graduated from polytechnic institutions and centers with average (very good) and after spending a period of three years of work , after approval of their bodies .
2. be respective in thought and deed.
3. be medically fit and able to pursue studies and scientific practice.
4. If the applicant is foreigner, residency all the duration of study is needed.
5. Students who possess the percentage approved by the faculty
6. To pass entrance examinations and interviews successfully.
7. Finical statement ability, to pay fees and expenses of the study according to the regulations established at the university.

Students and under admitted:
Students are admitted according to the following categories:
1. regular students and this category includes all full-time students.
2. Non-regular students (handicapped students) .those students continue their studies in the systems, and specify the internal regulations of faculty.

Foreign students
Foreign students are accepted and registered in the Libyan universities in accordance with the foundations and rules that decided each year .
These rules are announced annually immediately after the announcement of the results of secondary school examinations .

The transition from a university to another:
A student can transfer courses from one university to another (either from the Libyan universities or from other recognized universities all over the world) according to the following conditions:
1. student has not been separated from any university or college for scientific or disciplinary reasons.
2. the provision of certified documents from jurisdictions around the courses , syllabuses and materials taught.
3. to spend one school year at least before graduation at the university.

The scientific committees have to conduct the equations necessary for the qualifications . in the case of different educational qualifications of the regulations enforce by Libyan universities , the competent public administration for universities and higher institutes conduct the necessary equations.
