The Center of Research and Graduate University is considered one of the most important sections in this university.      The goal of this centre is the supplementing of the university with the necessary faculty members in various disciplines. The university appointed over (300) graduate students from this centre with both (Masters) and (PhD), as members of the teaching faculties in various schools of the university.   The year (1992/1993) were considered the first step of the 7th of April University in the field of graduate studies, and the award of the General People's Committee for Education and Scientific Research No. (24) in 14/1/1995 founded Center for Research and Graduate Studies. The center's targets have been identified in: 1. Preparation and implementation of postgraduate programs in various disciplines of    ddgraduation competencies needed to meet the scientific community in the area of teaching ddand scientific research. 2. Establishment of a valid scientific research, and emphasizes the theories of the great ggrevolution of September , and the consolidation of the humanitarian principles of the great yiyJamahiriya. 3. Provide advanced knowledge, expertise and consultancy. 4. Keep pace with the march of scientific development and contribute, and openness to the gigvarious institutions , bodies and scientific centers at homeland and abroad. 5. Attention to the problems of local, Arab and African and international nature of knowledge. 6. Discover the heritage, visibility, and work to improve , enrich, and submitted this heritage in tittmodern and neat form. 7. Conduct research and studies that would assist in the formulation of policies and conscious YYof the community could evolve and fruitful interaction with the international situation present yyand future.
